Obsessive-compulsive
How obsessive-compulsively can one person check their email? It has become apparent to me that the less I can focus on actual work, the more frequently I check my various email accounts and look at the same news headlines over and over; I actually check my email accounts at 3am despite the fact that I know there will not be any new email. That's just sad... Oh! And I check the weather too. Well, that makes it all better doesn't it?

I have the same compulsion. I must warn you it only gets worse when you have a blog and are checking to see if ANYONE commented

although i'm considering getting my own blog. that way we can all communicate as nature intended - by pixels on a brightly lit screen from miles and miles away.
dammit. if only i had a tail. this would be so much faster.

You must update often to keep us entertained....this is a two way street of mindless chatter and fruitless searching for something to do (read) you know :P
