Chicago
So my job interview went ridiculously well. I got along smashingly with everyone who I talked to there and I think I was probably the most qualified person for the job (although I wasn't really in competition with anyone since they hire many people each year). Both people I interviewed with said they thought I would be a good fit for the company. I clicked extra well with one of them and we ended up talking 5-10 mins longer than we were supposed to. I spent another day up in Chicago after my interviews in order to "catch up" a bit with a really good friend and I had a blast. Despite the fact that I am now back down in Tiny Town and overloaded with work, it is hard for me not to be really happy with how my life is going right now. We will see in a few weeks if I did in fact get that job. If so, I am very very very tempted to take it and not bother interviewing with any other companies (at least 2 of whom have expressed interest in me interviewing with them). Thoughts? Take a good job that I would enjoy or interview with others first in order to get more options? Keep in mind that if I decide to interview with other companies, I will likely have to find a very good excuse to delay my response to the company I was just in Chicago for and it will take time out of my already busy schedule to do the interviewing.

first, congratulations on a great interview!
second, hmmmm....that's a dilemma. take the job or keep your options open. i'd go with your gut on that one. if you like the first company and it's a good fit right now, go for it. likely, you won't stay there forever, you can probably move to a different place later on anyway.
but, options are good too. just don't use the options as an excuse to avoid making a decision.
this is all either really good advice or gibberish, i'm not coherent enough to figure that out right now.
I have decided to at do the interview with the other company that currently wants to interview me (the 3rd doesnt do it this early). They went out of their way to mention in their email to me that they would do their best to make it fast because they know I likely already have other offers. That seems like a good start. Wtf is with everyone loving me recently?
um, we all love you because you're f'in awesome? hello?
Good for people to know.
